Hello, I'm a newbie to the group. I just wanted to say hello. I've just been diagnosed stage 3 CKD. I'm also a type 2 diabetic on insulin for better bloodsugar control.

Hello FancyButterfly1260 and welcome to MyDaVita. In time I am sure you will have all your questions answered. This is a very intelligent group of people here and all are willing to help where they can. I am in stage 4, but have maintained that level for a good many years. Just in the past several months I've started using the diets on this page and they are really good. There is also a way for you to get recipes for diabetics and that is to go to KIDNEY EDUCATION on the top of this page. On the right side of that page there is a blank there that says SEARCH DAVITA.COM. In that space type in the words RECIPES FOR DIABETICS and it will take you to a whole list of places where you can get recipes from. I know you didn't ask for recipes, but just in case you need some, there they are. God luck to you.
