Hi there I'm a newbie found out I was in stage 3 last year of 2016 I was so afraid been doing a lot of research here and there looking at diet exercise etc... hope to find good friends going through the same thing that I am blessing to all

Well welcome Mistyblue57. You will find just about anything you need on this website. The recipes are absolutely delicious and everyone has their own form of exercise I think. I am in stage 4, but I remember being pretty confused and overwhelmed at first. Just read as many posts on these pages as you can and do a lot of posting yourself--ask questions or just vent, it doesn't matter what you say as long as it pertains to CKD. Good luck to you. Chris

Hi. I'm new too.. I am stage 5 already on dialysis. It is over whelming learning all the new info. I had to start IT at a center 3 months ago any it's hard, but it keeps me alive. I amhavind surgery next week so I can do PD at home. If you are active and can do it yourself when the time comes, I advise doing PD at home. Being confined to a chair 12 hours a week is torture.
