Kidney Failure after transplant

I was told that after eight years the kidney I had transplant it has begun to reject and my kidney is failing so I need to get on the right plan which I’ve been eating pretty much but I am just devastated

Hello esterstapleton. I am so sorry your transplant is failing. Have you talked to a nephrologist (kidney doctor) yet? If not, I suggest you get to one as soon as possible so he/she can get you on the right track. Maybe you will have a completely different diet than you now have. Proper diet and drinking water are extremely necessary for people with kidney disease, but see your kidney doctor! Good luck to you, Chris
