My 2 year old daughter has Stage 2 CKD and Grade 5 VUR.

My 2 year old daughter has Stage 2 CKD and Grade 5 VUR. I am debating about having surgery on her to fix her VUR which might help her CKD. She got CKD last year when she had an horrible UTI outbreak. The doctors said no to the surgery because of the surgery risk for a young child. But her NEXT UTI outbreak she will have the surgery. I do not want to wait for her next UTI outbreak because that can damage her kidneys. Has anyone taken their child to Cincinnati Children Hospital for surgery or treatment? They are ranked # 3 in the country and I am thinking of having the surgery at this Hospital. Or if your child had the surgery how old were they and any problems?
