  • Why Patients with Stage 3 CKD Have Foamy Urine

Stage 3 CKD means patient’s kidney function is damaged moderately, and patients can have many health problems at this point. In fact, many patients with stage 3 CKD will find their urine is foamy, which is often a dangerous sign.

It indicates that the Creatinine, muscle's byproduct that usually are filtered by the kidney, are getting in higher concentration in the blood indicating that the kindeys may not be doing good enough job. That is why creatinine level is measured to indicate kidney functionality. That creates the froth when someone urinates.
