I've been dxd with Stage 3 CKD for 3 years now. I also am diabetic, though well controlled. I just had my quarterly labs done and was told that my gfr was 58. Yay! Then my Dr decided to retest for some things and now I'm at 44 gfr. These tests were done 1 week apart. How is this possible? Is it possible? When my numbers drop like that, it really freaks me out. Have a call in to the nephrologist about whether I need to take further action (ie more tests), or just wait and see.
