Itching

Hello,
I have stage 4 CKD and the itching is getting worse. I'm not yet on dialysis. Any suggestions?

excessive dry skin and itches, it drives you crazy, I've try everything over the counter lotion. nothing cure the itching. I feel like a dog with fleas..lol

When I first complained of the itching, my nephrologist shrugged it off, but my primary care dr. prescribed Hydroxyzine. It makes me sleepy, so I take it ONLY at night if the itching is keeping me awake. Works like a charm!
