Nephrologist thinks 2.5 creatine level due to Prilosec use!
Hello, we just had our referral appt this am with the nephrologist. They believe that since husband has no other symptoms: heart disease, diabetes or high BP, that priilosec is causing this. Plan is to stop taking and come back in 2 weeks to check creatine again. I just wanted to share this with everyone in hopes that it may help someone.
We are hoping this is the case but will have to wait and see. She said to avoid all PPI drugs.
