Chornic Kidney Disease Patients - Volunteers needed for research
Hello all!
I'm doing Masters in Psychology; and currently working on my dissertation. I'm evaluating rumination styles, coping strategies and post-traumatic growth in Kidney Patients of different stages of CKD.
I have selected this topic to understand the psychological impact of the disease and how people cope with it. Also, in my country Pakistan; there is very little awareness about the social and psychological aspect of this disease; hence there are no support groups.
Through this research I aim to create awareness to provide support and counselling not only to patients in my country but also worldwide.
To achieve my aims; I require volunteers from all stages of CKD i.e Early stages,1 and 2; GFR >60, Pre-dialysis stage; GFR 30 - 59, Dialysis & transplant stage; GFR<30.
