Hello Rock... I am in the same boat as you... I am tired most of the time... if you are having a hard time catching your breath.. call your doctor... as I was just in the hospital for a week with Pulmonary Edema and Double Pneumonia.. and I had a hard time breathing...

You have to watch your diet and there are many great recipes here.. and watch your fluid intake..

I hope you feel better soon... I am going to add you as friend....

Yes, watch your fluid intake (and also sodium). If you are having issues breathing it may very well be edema. I would talk with your doctor, also talk to a nutritionist. They can give you a great sample diet and also hints about what kind of foods to eat and to avoid.

My doctor told me to drink lots of water until I started diaysis than I would be limited. He wanted my kidney's to keep working as much as possible. It all depends on if you are retaining fluid and if your doctor says it is fine.

You have to limit protein, potassium, phosphorous and sodium from your diets. It is very hard. Don't eat vegetables that are too green I.e.spinach,broccoli,cabbage they have too much potassium
