Parent (not an american resident) on dialysis - Insurance options

Dear Community,

My father recently started on dialysis (in-center, 3 times a week). He is not an american citizen or resident (I am). I do not want to leave him on his own and want him to stay with me so that i can take care of him. I am unable to figure out what my insurance options are ? He is 65 years old

If he will be living with you and you are supporting him, is it possible to add him to your insurance as a dependent? There is a section on this page that has questions and answers about insurance, so maybe that would help you.
