Dietitian answer: Gatorade is high in sodium, but also has added potassium and phosphorus. Recently Gatorade has come out with a Organic version which I found at Harris Teeter. It has slightly less sodium, less potassium, and no added phosphorus. If you are looking for an alternative to Gatorade I would recommend trying this version if you can find it.
